A serious solo performer by age 8, I wrote and passionately acted plays to my sweet and dutiful parents, whilst dreaming of racing down NYC streets in sneakers before discretely pulling heels out of my purse before stepping into the spotlight to perform to sold out audiences.

I’ve not quite fulfilled that sneakers to heels fantasy, but my formative years in the downtown NYC theater scene checked a lot of my other boxes; working with some of my acting/writing/directing heros.

When I’m not acting, I’m likely writing or running my writer’s group, dancing or cooking meals for my friends and family.  I’m a glutton for global culture and have traveled to all but one continent, but my favorite place to escape to is my family cabin in the Adirondacks where I’m lucky to find solace to write and enter the wilds of nature and my imagination on paper.

Brooklyn is where I call home, and where I’ve grown into what casting offices have described as: a funny, smart mouthed know-it-all who can also be fiercely maternal, and emotionally vulnerable at the drop of a pin. My favorite adjective to describe my work though is truthful, as I aim to bring truth above all to every role I embody.
